So, due to personal reasons, when I heard the prompt for Illustration Friday this week I immediately though repair a relationship, repair a broken heart. Here is my ideas for repair. The first one I did was the one above, the couple. He's supposed to be holding a hammer. It doesn't look like a hammer. Also, his arm looks odd. And I would like to go back and add her hand on his shoulder. The second one I created is the one below, the wooden heart. It looked good, but unfinished. After some thought, I added the clock and the plant. "Only time can repair a broken heart, so love can bloom again." I'm not sure which one is my favorite. Hmmm.

I had the same thought-about repairing a broken heart. When I saw your first picture I thought he was holding an axe. But you can see a loving look in their eyes! I like the second picture best though as I like the way the pictures are symbols.
